Host your next Yoga & Meditation retreat with us
Ganga Kinare – The Trusted Host of International Yoga Week Since 1989

Nestled in the foothills of the majestic Himalayas and caressed by the sacred waters of the Ganges, Rishikesh stands as a beacon of tranquillity and transformation. Revered as the "Yoga Capital of the World," this idyllic town offers the perfect setting for an immersive and rejuvenating retreat experience.

Located on the Banks of River Ganges, Ganga Kinare has been intimately connected with Yoga since its establishment. Both the International Yoga Festival and Ganga Kinare were inaugurated in 1989. Selected by the State tourism board as the venue for this prestigious event, Ganga Kinare hosted the festival for ten consecutive years until 1998, welcoming national and international celebrities and delegates to Rishikesh. Among our esteemed guests was the legendary Shri BKS Iyengar, who found solace and inspiration here, and whose legacy continues to infuse our space with empowering vibrations.

In 2015, Ganga Kinare once again hosted the International Yoga Week, attracting global spiritual and yoga leaders such as Jivasuji, Dr. Kathy Kangarloo, Acharya Sasidhar, Mykal Aubry, Yogi Amrit Raj, and Swami Sudhir Anand, among others.
